The best way to think about a supermarket shop is considering the fresh produce and fish/meat aisles and counter as your friend.. and not a lot else. With the exception of a few choice items from the other aisles, these two will be your best bet:

- Cheese (most varieties – except those containing fruits like cranberries)
Meat and Fish
Most meat and fish are safe options – providing they’re the raw product. Avoid anything that’s in a sauce or is breaded or battered.

- Beef
- Chicken
- Duck
- Turkey
Oils & Condiments
- Avocado Oil
- Olive Oil
- Dijon Mustard
- Mayonnaise
Baking Goods
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- Baking Powder
- Vanilla Extract
Nut Butters
Just check for added sugars!
